Our Story
Punny Threads was born from a simple idea: life’s more fun when you don’t take it too seriously. Wes, our founder and chief pun-maker, started designing funny, pun-based shirts as a hobby. Over the years, his collection of witty wordplay and clever graphics grew so much, it was just begging to be shared with the world. Now, Punny Threads is your new favorite spot for wearable jokes and joy.
Our Creative Process
Every design at Punny Threads starts with a spark of inspiration—a funny phrase overheard at a coffee shop, a classic dad joke, or a playful twist on everyday sayings. Wes sketches out ideas (often on napkins or in the notes app at 2 a.m.), then brings them to life with original artwork and a healthy dose of pun-loving energy.
We believe the best puns are those that surprise you, make you think, and—most importantly—make you laugh out loud. Each shirt goes through a “pun approval process” (aka Wes sharing it with friends and seeing if they groan or giggle) before it ever hits the store.
